Dr. Y.K. Arora is an interventional cardiologist (DM) and visiting consultant at THE CLINICS with over four decades of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cardiovascular diseases. Having served in the Indian Army for 31 years, he has followed a patient-centric approach to cardiology.

Dr. Y.K. Arora completed his MBBS from JLN Medical College, Ajmer in 1978, followed by an MD in General Medicine in 1981. He further specialized in Cardiology by earning his DM (Cardiology) from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune in 1993. Throughout his career, he has managed complex cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and preventive cardiology.

 

Dr. Y.K. Arora has made significant contributions to medical education and academic research. He has been a recognized postgraduate teacher at Pune, Lucknow, and Delhi Universities, an examiner for DNB Cardiology, and an MCI Inspector for postgraduate medical courses. He has also served as Executive Member of the Cardiological Society of India (CSI) and National Convener for Hypertension, contributing extensively to the advancement of cardiology in India.
